It's a Girl, or so they say!

The Shower was Saturday, September 1, 2007 and the little one is expected

October 13, 2007!

The new Mom and Dad to be just arriving at the family's baby shower. Just look at those smiles... And they think they are ready to be parents?

Diana and Tom were so kind to not only offer their home for the shower, but co-host as well. The other co-host couples were Grandparents to be Elsa and Roland Villarreal and Charles an Kelly Ekwurzel, and Erica's Godparents, Rudy and Pauline.

Momma is pretty as a flower!

And another photo of the beautiful Mother to be by the flowers, looking so pretty she seems to be one of the flowers herself.

Jarrod looks like he is about to stick this Grandma to be with the corsage pin. Thank goodness he didn't, but it sure took a lot of concentration.

And now comes the fun part where four of our favorite guys got to show their skills in diapering the baby, but there was a catch. They had to do it one handed while finishing off the bottle themselves.

Jarrod and RJ were certainly getting into the action here. And one handed no less!

RJ had a bit of a challenge since his baby was too big for the diaper he was given. But I must say he tried. He got it around one leg! Hope he does better when he babysits for his little neice.

And look at that proud Grandpa watching his boys finish the work, and their bottles.

Guess we tired Grandpa out, But look at all those gifts behind him. What a loved baby this one is.

And what would a shower be without a little conspiring. Candy was asked to write down all the things that our Mom and Dad to be said, and then she and Pauline read them aloud. Of course she said they were all the things that had been said on the night of conception. What a riot!







And here we have Grandma with the two wonderful parent's to be. Some how Grandpa Ekwurzel managed to stay out of the range of the camera all evening. But he was there too.
